Philosophy    Back to top
Operating and using a firearm is not a difficult or complicated task. Any person who undergoes a reasonable training with firearms can use one. However, the ability to use a weapon does not turn a person into a professional. On the contrary - the person may become dangerous to himself or the public. (We are aware of the fact that in order to attain a high level of skill, the basic techniques must be taught and then practiced over and over again. In order for the muscular memory to prove its capabilities and express itself in real time, abundant and repetitive practice is required.
In order for the shooter to progress from the status of a person who "knows how to use a gun" to a "skilled user", it must practice sometimes 30,000 to 40,000 repetitions of the each movement . Practice exercises must be as life-like and real as possible, first at low speeds (slow motion) and only when the movement has been perfected the pace should be accelerated gradually.

BlockCare was invented as a solution to the numerous problems that have arisen over years by training of Special Forces units and fighters engaged in firing guns.

BlockCare simultaneously provides solutions to numerous requirements:   Back to top
- BlockCare provides virtually 100% safety during dry fire exercises!!!
- BlockCare eliminates unnecessary wear and tear during dry fire exercises
- BlockCare includes a clear and noticeable external sign that is clearly visible from every direction, indicating that live fire of the weapon is blocked!!!
- BlockCare provides the trainer with instant feedback. Only full cocking of the weapon will enable a live bullet entering the muzzle. Partial cocking will cause blockageby locking the barrel into place and enabling the user to pull the trigger. The trainer immediately senses this and can correct it independently. The trainer also receives immediate indications of the drawing speed (in frontal practice against a foe) and the precision of the hit.
- BlockCare is suitable for any pistol or gun.- BlockCare enables the person practicing to use his own personal weapon, not requiring a special practice weapon.
- With BlockCare, practice exercises can be conducted anywhere, without requiring a special training facility.

Wear and Tear During Dry Practice    Back to top
A weapon operates using a bolt that is cocked back and pulls back a spring. The energy created by the spring accelerates the bolt forward, draws a bullet from the magazine and locks itself and the barrel into place.
The high speed of the assembly that moves forward (reverting spring) is bridled all at once!! The assembly, that is pushed forward at a high speed, comes to a complete halt!! The blockage is similar to a hammer hitting an anvil, or a car crashing into a concrete wall!
In most firearms, the loads are calculated so that the force of the movement is blocked by drawing a live bullet from the magazine and inserting it into the muzzle. This action reduces the force of the bolt hitting the barrel and the pin causes the barrel to rise and lock into place.
When conducting dry training exercises, the bolt is not blocked, and therefore reaches the barrel with more than normal force, thus causing a constant damage to the firearm (like a car hitting a concrete wall).
Another important cause of wear and tear is the firing pin. The firing pin, that hits the cap, which usually rests on the bolt's surface, completes its movement inwards, on the cap. When the cap is not in place (during dry practice), the firing pin reaches the end of its path, where it is violently blocked by the inner side of the firing-pin's surface, causing deformation of the firing pin and the bore that leads it. There are numerous cases in which the firing pins of pistols used for dry fire break and cause the pistols to be put out of use.
Many combat units have come to realize that dry practice "ravages" their firearms. A fighter who uses a gun cocks his gun thousands of times during dry training exercises. The firearms collapse and break, and their combat readiness are damaged, and consequently endanger human lives. The solution BlockCareinstead of Practice weaponsFirearms that cease to be operational undergo minor renovation, are painted in different colors and are then put back to use as practice weapons. The last, most recent generation of practice and training weapons originates directly from the manufacturers. Even the largest manufacturers have come to realize the great importance of dry practice training and understand that on the one hand, dry practice is very important and vital, and on the other hand, dry practice causes irreversible damage to firearms.

How does BlockCare operate?    Back to top
BlockCare practically reduces the wear and tear to zero! It blocks the force of the bolt's blow on its way inside, but leaves the assembly enough energy to create lockage.

Safety   Back to top
BlockCare provides practically 100% safety during dry practice exercises.
BlockCare can be assembled through the muzzle only. This enables absolute confirmation that the weapon is empty of ammunition and that training is really dry.

BlockCare is positioned inside the barrel, from one side to the other, and is locked against movement from both sides.
Even if a live bullet reaches the direction of the muzzle, it will be blocked by BlockCare and will be unable to enter the muzzle, and from there, thought the barrel, eliminating the posibily of cooking.
